Herbal Consultation & Applications
What is an herbal consultation?
An herbal consult consists of an examination, interview, intake and recommendations of herbs and supplements to support the body's healing process and bring relief of various symptoms.
Herbal consultations are wonderful for anyone looking for natural therapies, wanting to live a holistic lifestyle and those suffering from any number of ailments. As a master herbalist, I have had great success with many ailments including; hypothyroid, arthritis, fibromyalgia, eczema, acne, anxiety, depression, hyperactivity in adults and children and many other issues.
What happens during a visit?
An herbal consult begins immediately upon the clients arrival. As a master herbalist it is my job to began assessment immediately by listening to the voice, word choices, body size and natural walk. As an intuitive, I will naturally sense and read the energy of the body.
A tongue analysis is done in order to determine vital information. Through the tongue observation; the color, shape, and coating of the tongue can tell the client’s overall condition as well as information about digestion, circulation, general energy and more. It is best to avoid consuming anything other then water a half-hour before your visit. Also, please do not scrape or brush your tongue before visiting.
After the analysis an extensive intake is given. The intake will allow me to have a better understanding of how you live, sleep, eat and spend your time. It is also important that before coming in you have a list of all medications and dosages you are currently taking and all doctors you are seeing. You may also want to bring a list of past medicines you have taken and for how long.
When the intake is complete we will discuss your concerns and any further questions I have about what your goals are in seeking herbal healing. Some recommendations will be made immediately and you will be asked to come back in two to three days for your detailed written consult. At that time, we will go over in detail each and every recommendation so that you can ask questions and understand why the recommendations are being made.
Some teas, supplements and formulas are available for purchase at our office. However, most will need to be purchased at other locations. I will make sure you have a list of locations to help you find what you need. We will also discuss what to do if a reaction takes place.
Herbal consults are $225 per consult. The initial consult is two hours and includes a Biopulsar reading, intake and interview. Within 72 hours your consult will be ready for pick up and you will be provided with dietary guidelines, herbal recommendations and custom herbal tea blend and instructions. Follow ups are recommended at 4weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. These sessions can include aromatherapy, biopulsar readings, herbal application, reiki, chromotherapy or Chromalive Therapy if needed or wanted. Fees vary based on service provided.
What is an herbal application?
Herbal applications are available for people seeking nautral herbal applications for an injury or ailment that has already been seen by a medical doctor. These applications may include soaks, compresses, packs, steams, teas, tinctures, flower essence, aromatherapy, reflexology, acupressure, breathwork, reiki or meditations.
All herbs and herbal products are 100% organic and an extensive intake is required before services will be provided. Herbal application fees vary based on time, depth of the application, cost of herbs and products. You will be given the remaining products to take home along with instructions for continued care.
