Learn the power of meditation and its ability to reduce stress, improve mental health, create emotional stability, expand your ability to breathe deeply, balance your chakras and so much more. Every class is unique, and with faithful practice and commitment will change your overall health and wellbeing.
Movement and Meditation for the Chakras
This class is returning to the Omaha Healing Arts Center on Sunday Mornings at 9am beginning February 5th.
Join Chanell every Sunday in February for gentle movements to open the chakras and meditation to balance the energies of these powerful healing centers.
Mats are available at the center.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in freely.
Cost is $10 and drop-ins are welcome.
Level I Usui Reiki Class and Attunement
If you have thought about becoming an energy healer or are curious about the Japanese healing art known as Usui Reiki this class will provide you with valuable information about Reiki healing. In this class you will learn about the history of Usui Reiki, how to use reiki and with whom, understand the differences between the various levels and types of "laying on-hands" therapies and learn to use self-healing techniques. You will also learn how to prepare a reiki treatment room, prepare yourself before a session, listen to your intuition to heal, use a pendulum for guidance and watch a reiki session. You will be given your reiki I attunement and asked to commit to 21 days of self-healing. Certificates will be mailed to you on day 21.
Because of the intimate nature of reiki, space will be limited to six people per class.
Cost of class is $250 and includes manual and certificate. Class will be 4 hours in length. If you are interested in the attunement only please call for a private session. Cost of Reiki I attunement alone is $125, this is set by The International Center for Reiki.
Reiki I Classes will be offered on the following dates (you only need to attend one class):
Sunday February 19th from 11am-3pm - Class closed
Monday February 20th from 4pm-8pm - 1 opening still available
Tuesday February 21st 4pm-8pm - Class closed
Sunday February 26th from 11am-3pm
Reiki II will be offered in the Spring
Classes are open to all certified Reiki Practitioners who would like to be re-attuned and/or are interested in refreshing their knowledge.
